Many top countries welcome “Digital Nomads”
A few days ago, I saw this news.
Some European countries and Korea had already started.
What is a "Digital Nomad," and Why is This the Lifestyle Many Dream Of?
What is a Digital Nomad? “Digital nomads are people who travel freely while working remotely using technology and the internet” (Wikipedia). “A digital nomad works from any location and uses technology to perform their job while moving to new destinations.” (TechTarget).
My daughter’s high school, Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics and Technology, is a so-called “elite” one. A big percentage of the students there, under the influence of their parents, wanted to pursue a career in medicine (to be Medical doctors, Dentists, …). I encouraged my daughter to pursue Computer Science (and she listened), not because I work in software (in fact, many of my colleagues discourage their children from entering IT), but because it offers a better opportunity to embrace a “Work Anytime, Work Anywhere, Work Independently” lifestyle. This is the overarching decision factor. Then, “Information Technology” (and later sub-categories) is a logical choice.
The reasons are simple:

One can truly experience a culture by working and living there, which is completely different from travelling and sightseeing.
My daughter quite likes Japanese culture.
